Kids Sledding for the first time this year!

So I go to pick up my boys from daycare today and they were playing outside in the snow. It was time to go and Dylan asked if we could go to snow mountain. I was said, we'll see. What do I get!? PLEASE Mom!!! I promise we won't ask for anything ever again!!!   HAHAHA I knew I said that to my parents several times when I was there age.

On our way to Roosevelt to go sleding!

So we went to HyVee afterwards to get some frosting for the cake balls we are making and Dylan asked can we get something special? I said to him, what happended to not asking for anything ever again!? All he could do was smile....... Cute!!

Working Out!

So it is that time of year that everyone vows to start working out and about a month later they fizzel out and quit. I have actually started to work out and I am somewhat trying to eat healthier. I am bringing my clothes to work out in to work and running on the treadmill for about 15 minutes or about 1 mile. I run with someone who motivates me to just keep running.... her name is LADY GAGA!! Don't make fun. I love to listen to her. Well it is that time again. Time to go run.  I hope that by the summer comes around I could be like 20lbs lighter.  I try not to look at my weight and let it define who I am or let it make me feel fat. I just want to be healthier, do some more exercise.  Check back to see how this goes.... :)

The Start of this Blog!

Well I am trying how to figure out how to do a blog. Why don't they just call it an online diary or scrapbook?  Isn't that what it is?  I guess you can share thoughts, ideas, or whatever.  So this one is a whatever.....

Christmas was fun this year. Being in debt is no fun, so it made it more of a challenge to do Christmas on a budget. I must say I think I enjoyed it more than just buy buy buy.....  I even got creative and made a pant leg pillow for my son Dylan and a apron for my sister.  She is going to hair cutting school and it will hold her combs and clips. She loves it.

We had family pictures taken and gave them to family. Also just focused Christmas on the kids.  I know it is crazy but we have become foster family for 2 doxies and saved there lives.  The pound was going to put them down if no one would take them.  Last Hope Rescue took them and contacted us and now they are 2 spoild dogs.   They need a home that can give them the love and attention they need. Until that family comes along, my family is gonna have to do.

I just love it when my son Dylan hears a song and gets up and says yea this is what I am talking about and starts to dance!! What a goof!!!
